Rob believes that Sophie keeps “inflating” his efforts to fix their marriage, especially when she begins living with her female friend. Sophie even mentioned talking with Jasmine about the possibility of divorcing Rob. Jasmine later chimed in and said she suggested a divorce because the couple’s situation had become a “sympathy contest,” and there was no fixing until both parties had set down their pride.
