New ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ Winner Ready To Rub It In
Ike Barinholtz was the big $1 million winner on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire this season with his dad, Alan Barinholtz. Since this is the celebrity version of the show, all the money went to charity. However, there were also bragging rights, and Ian plans to really rub it in some other competitor’s faces.

Ike Barinholtz Wins $1 Million On Who Wants To Be A Millionaire
After Ike Barinholtz won the $1 million prize for his charity with his dad, Alan Barinholtz, had a lot to say. Much of his comments were targeted at his friends and contemporaries who also competed on the show’s current season. This includes Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak, as well as Nick Kroll.
Ike competed on the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire episode that aired on August 14, and his partner was his dad, Alan. He said they have been preparing to do this for many years, and they weren’t going to let this moment pass. They are the only duo to win the $1 million prize this season. According to Ike, his family is “trivia forward” (via PEOPLE).
“Our whole life has been a trivia night,” Ike said. “Whether it was when we were little and we would play Trivial Pursuit, or, I think, we watched almost every episode of Jeopardy! and watched hundreds of episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”
Ike and his dad played for a charity to fund an American Sign Language (ASL) program at Los Encinos School, where their nephew and grandson, Dezi, attends.
Ike Ready to Rub In Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Win
Barinholtz was the first celebrity this season to win $1 million for his charity. The comedian said he is really excited for Mindy Kaling, who he stars with in The Mindy Project, to watch the episode. He said that he told her he competed on the show, but he wouldn’t tell her how he did. Ike said it was “fine” when she asked.

He also said that he is excited to hear what B.J. Novak thinks when he sees the episode. He called Novak a “trivia head” as well. Other people he wanted to hear from is Brendan Hunt and Patton Oswalt. He competed against both of those men on Celebrity Jeopardy! Ike also won $1 million on that show for the charity Pacific Clinics. He was also a semifinalist in the 2024 Tournament of Champions.
However, he also said there is someone he wants to rub his win in the face of. The first night of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire this season saw Nick Kroll (Big Mouth) and John Mulaney in competition. They lost on a question about Succession. When asked, Ike said he just wanted to say, “Suck it, Kroll!” He then admitted he was only joking.
