Susan Noles Admits Feeling Disappointed After ‘Golden Bachelor’

Susan Noles Admits Feeling Disappointed After Golden Bachelor
Susan Noles is probably the most visible rejected Golden Bachelor contestant aside from Joan Vassos. She was sent home in Week 5 after failing to form a strong connection with Gerry Turner. She returned to the franchise to officiate Gerry’s wedding to Theresa Nist. The couple split after just three months of marriage.
Along with bestie, Kathy Swarts, Susan hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast. She recently opened up to PEOPLE magazine about the biggest disappointment about The Golden Bachelor. And no, it wasn’t getting dumped by Gerry Turner.
She recalled being told to expect her DMs to be flooded by men asking her out after her time on the show. That may have happened to Joan Vassos, but Susan admitted that it didn’t happen to her.
“Everybody said, ‘Oh, you’re going to get so many DMs and men are going to be hitting you up.’ It does not happen.”
Susan added, “I don’t know if I’m too old or I’m too big of a personality, but yeah, no.”
Shares Update On Man She Met In Retail Store
The Golden Bachelor alum shared on a May podcast episode that a man had approached her in a more traditional way than social media messages. A male fan saw her in the big box retail store, Marshalls, and the two struck up a friendship.
However, it didn’t go further than that. She gave an update on the man she met. His name is Michael, and they are still friends. But “I don’t think it’s anything crazy serious, but it’s good,” she said.
You’ll See Her Back On Reality TV Soon
Susan Noles has definitely extended her 15 minutes of fame. She walked the runway at the New York Fashion Show earlier this year.
She is also an ambassador for QVC. But she will soon return to her reality TV roots. She confirmed to PEOPLE that she was part of the upcoming reality show on Hulu.
Susan Noles and some of the other Golden Bachelor ladies will also have a cameo of some sort on Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette.
