‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner Suffers Devastating Death

Gerry Turner Says Goodbye To Beloved Family Member
The Golden Bachelor star took to Instagram to share some sad news with fans on Friday. Gerry Turner posted several photos of his beloved dog, Cody. In the caption, he revealed that Cody passed away.
He wrote, “As puppies, they are full of energy, vigor, and sass. And you choose them to share your life. And then, they choose you; instantly, the most loyal & loving companionship is created. A generation of joy is compressed into a few short years. Why must they leave so soon?”
Gerry continued, “Here’s to the dog who ushered me thru the toughest years a man could endure. R. I. P. Cody. April 27, 2013 to August 15, 2024.”
The post included several adorable candid shots of Cody as well as two selfies with Gerry Turner and the pup. Fans offered their condolences for the Golden Bachelor star in the comments.
“Sorry for your loss. It’s like [losing] a family member,” one person wrote. Another chimed in, “I’m soo so sorry!!! Rest in Peace sweet Cody.” A third commented, “So sorry. Those are the saddest days. They love unconditionally and without reserve.”
Fellow Golden Bachelor star Kathy Swarts offered her condolences as well. She wrote, “Gerry, I am so sorry to hear about Cody!!”

A few days before Gerry Turner had to say goodbye to his furry friend, he celebrated his 73rd birthday. He shared several snapshots on Instagram, thanking his followers for their birthday well wishes.
Two photos were selfies of Gerry alongside his daughter. Another showed him surrounded by some of his friends on the golf course.
Recently, people have been wondering if Gerry Turner can reinvent himself the way Theresa Nist has. When the couple split up following their run on The Golden Bachelor, most fans sided with Theresa, believing she was the “victim” in the situation.
