Becca Kufrin & Thomas Jacobs’ Son Turns One Soon
It’s hard to believe now that Bachelor Nation stars Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs ever doubted that they should be together. The two met while filming Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise but broke up before the season was over. They reconnected after filming, and their romance has been a whirlwind ever since.
They announced their engagement in May 2022. But they hit a little speed bump on their way to the altar. The couple announced in April 2023 that they were expecting their first child.
Their son, Benny, turns one in late September. US Weekly recently caught up with Becca Kufrin, and she revealed that they are having a duck-themed birthday party for the youngster.
She joked that before she was a mom, she thought first birthday parties were silly since the baby won’t remember. “After I had Benny, Thomas and I spoiled him a little too much,” she confessed.
Update On New Home
The Bachelor In Paradise couple had a private wedding a few weeks after their son’s birth. They plan to have another wedding ceremony at some point. But right now, their focus is on putting roots down in San Diego, California.
Thomas Jacobs and Becca Kufrin bought a house earlier this year. She told Us Weekly that they are in the process of renovating it, but it hasn’t gone smoothly.
“I’m not gonna lie. I hate the renovation process. Thomas loves it much more. I’ve gotten better.”
Bachelor In Paradise Alums Tease TV Return
Becca Kufrin announced in June 2023 that she was leaving the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast as co-host. Thomas Jacobs’ reaction seemed to hint that it wasn’t her decision. Their BIP co-stars, Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, took over as co-hosts.
After leaving the podcast, the couple seemed to take a step back from the Bachelor franchise. They didn’t attend Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner’s wedding to Theresa Nist. Instead of reality TV, Thomas and Becca seemed to prioritize their growing family.
But now they might be ready for a return to TV, though obviously not any of the Bachelor dating shows. In fact, you might be seeing Becca and Thomas on HGTV soon.
“We’ve actually been talking to some producers for different shows. We’ve been in talks with some people about potentially doing something like that,” Becca said about the possibility of a home renovation show.
