But things quickly went downhill for Sam as his drama with the other men riled viewers. Jenn finally sent Sam McKinney home on the last episode. Sam McKinney Always Planned To Leave Bachelorette Early?
Blogger Reality Steve warned Bachelor Nation fans ahead of Jenn Tran’s season that something was sketchy about contestant Sam McKinney. But his first night in the mansion had many fans swooning over him and his chemistry with Jenn Tran.
But it turns out, Reality Steve was right, as usual. Sam McKinney allegedly never had any true interest in Jenn and always planned to leave the show before the end, regardless. According to the Bachelor blogger, Sam McKinney had a pre-planned family event during filming that he absolutely could not miss. But he still applied and was cast on the ABC dating show.
According to Reality Steve, Sam was the officiant at his sister’s wedding and the wedding was in the middle of the show’s filming schedule. But instead of self-eliminating like Aaron Erb, Sam McKinney seemed to go out in a blaze of glory instead.
Bachelor Nation Fans React
Jenn Tran finally sent Sam home after he said she wasn’t his type and he thought Daisy Kent or Maria Georgas would be The Bachelorette. But Reality Steve also had receipts to prove his claim about Sam McKinney always planning to leave the show early.
He captured a social media comment Sam’s brother-in-law, Ed, made. When asked by a fan if they should bet on Sam winning, Ed replied, “He’ll have to leave the show to come marry Olivia and I in Costa Rica.”
