Yesterday, five arrests were made in connection with Perry’s death. Now, police are revealing more and confirming Perry’s addiction to IV Ketamine before he died. Keep reading to find out more.
Matthew Perry Reportedly Addicted To IV Ketamine
DEA administrator Anne Milgram provided more details about Matthew Perry’s tragic death. She revealed what led to his death during an August 15 press conference. During the press conference, she confirmed that Perry had been addicted to Ketamine prior to that fatal dose. In Touch Weekly shared more on the press conference.
She said, “Mr. Perry sought treatment for depression and anxiety and went to a local clinic where He became addicted to intravenous ketamine. When clinic doctors refused to increase his dosage, he turned to unscrupulous doctors who saw Perry as a way to make quick money.”
Two medical doctors, Dr. Mark Chavez and Dr. Salvador Placensia, broke their medical oath to care for patients and do them no harm. In the end, they knew they could take advantage of Matthew Perry in order to get lots of money fast. They never evaluated or monitored him in order to keep him safe. Instead, they just kept supplying the Ketamine in exchange for huge sums of money.
As time went on, Perry wanted more of the drug and he wanted it faster and cheaper. This led to him resorting to getting the drug off the streets from dealers. This ultimately led to his untimely, tragic death.
Milgram said, “Matthew Perry’s journey began with unscrupulous doctors who abused their position of trust because they saw him as a payday. And it ended with street dealers who sold him ketamine in unmarked vials.”
They Tried To Cover Up What They Had Done
Police also revealed during the press conference that involved individuals attempted to cover up the part they played in Matthew Perry’s death.
Text messages were found between Jasveen Sangha, who was known as the “Ketamine Queen” and alleged drug dealer Erik Fleming. The texts from Sangha instructed Fleming to delete all their messages.
Kenneth Iwamasa was also arrested for his part in Perry’s death. Iwamasa was Perry’s live-in personal assistant. Yesterday’s news revealed that he injected Perry with that fatal dose of Ketamine on October 28, 2023.
Matthew was found in his hot tub and although attempts were made to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead.
Perry’s father has spoken since the arrests were made noting that he was glad law enforcement was taking this case seriously. He hopes justice will be served.
