Over the past twelve years, The Today Show fans have grown to love Savannah Guthrie. Undeniably, she is charismatic and easy to relate to. So understandably fans are concerned seeing her leave, will she be returning?
The Today Show Isn’t The Same Without Savannah Guthrie
Although Savannah Guthrie took time away from the studio recently, fans were relieved to see she was abroad reporting on the 2024 Olympics. In her funny sense of humor, she brought spunk to the highly controversial opening ceremonies. Furthermore, her fun-loving spirit is evident any time she appears on Making Space with Hoda Kotb. Undoubtedly, Today Show fans adore Savannah who has become a staple of the daytime show. But after her Paris tour, fans expected to see her back but were sad when she didn’t return to the show.

Sadly, when fans tuned in for The Today Show, they were surprised that Savannah Guthrie was missing. Since Savannah is a normal part of many American’s waking routine, it was startling when she wasn’t there. During mid-August, the show host has been absent from her chair. But fear not, she seems to be taking a much-needed break after her travels. Of course, she isn’t just spending the time relaxing, instead, she is putting on her “mom hat” and sneaking in some important quality time with one very special young lady.
Celebrating A Significant Milestone
While it would be tempting to take some time to herself, Savannah Guthrie is back in action on the home front. After arriving back in the States, Savannah is enjoying a big day with her daughter. During her absence, she shows she is celebrating a significant milestone in her daughter, Vale’s life. On her Instagram page, she says, “Ten years of this magical girl – my whole heart and soul. Happy birthday dearest Vale!” Undeniably, the world can wait while Savannah shows her beautiful girl she is a huge priority! Savannah, 52, shares Vale with her husband, Michael Feldman, 55.
Additionally, Savannah posts a carousel of photos of her precious girl. She highlights them spending time together and even Vale getting her ears pierced.

Notably, Today‘s fans can be relieved that because Hoda Kotb says Savannah Guthrie will return. On the show, she notes she was currently taking some “well-deserved” time off. However, in the meantime, people are celebrating little Vale’s big day.
