Serial Killer On The Loose In Salem
There’s a serial killer loose in fictional Salem and no one in town is safe. Connie Kaminski, played by DOOL super fan Julie Dove, is on a mission to get revenge for Li’s murder. Viewers know she was actually the one responsible for killing Li. Gabi went to prison for it, though she’s since been released.
But the real murderer continues her stabbing spree unchecked. Her other victims include Rafe (Galen Gering,) who is still in a coma, and Bobby/Everett (Blake Berris.) It’s clear she isn’t done yet. Her next victim could be one fans aren’t expecting at all.

As fans know, Alison Sweeney is returning to Days Of Our Lives as Sami Brady in 2025 for an unexplained storyline. Now the soap has confirmed that Kyle Lowder is returning as her half-brother, Rex Brady. If you’re out of the loop, Rex is the long-lost son of Roman Brady and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow.)
Why are both Brady offspring returning at the same time? It’s not for the episode honoring Bill Hayes when his DOOL character, Doug Williams, passing away in November. Those episodes were already taped. Sami and Rex won’t arrive in Salem until Spring 2025.
Days of Our Lives fans took to Reddit to discuss Kyle Lowder bringing Rex back to Salem. One fan speculated, “He’s back around the same time as Sami. Maybe Roman is dying.”
Another added that Christie Clark, who plays Carrie Brady, is also in Burbank, California, where the show is filmed. “The plot thickens…,” they added.
One DOOL fan said that Roman is hardly on anyway. He mostly serves as the bartender giving out advice at the Brady pub. According to fans, the scripts for Sami and Rex’s return were written by outgoing head writer Ron Carlivati.
