Tori Spelling recently spoke about her relationship with her brother, Randy Spelling, growing up. The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum recalled a time when she attempted to stab her younger brother. Here is what she revealed during their conversation.

Randy Spelling Joins Tori For ‘misSPELLING’ Podcast

During the August 12 episode of Tori Spelling’s “misSPELLING” podcast, she spoke with her brother Randy Spelling.

“I think people from the outside perspective probably think there’s nothing relatable about our childhood,” the 51-year-old actress said. “We still had the sibling relationship and we still had the fights, the fun times, all of it. There was the time I tried to stab you.”

Randy had no trouble remembering the incident she was talking about. Apparently, she grabbed a letter opener and came for him in their house.

“The strangest thing [was] you had some sort of weird — when you got mad, you got crazy. You got the crazy eyes,” he told her. “You got very dramatic, and you came after me with the letter opener, and I feared for my life.”

Tori’s brother said that he was probably about eight or nine years old when this happened. His sister was around 14 years old. So, what got the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress so heated?

What Led Tori Spelling To Threaten To Stab Her Brother?

She said that she hated when Randy would loiter around her bedroom door trying to eavesdrop on her phone conversation. That is what sparked the intense fight between the two siblings.

“I just started at an all-girls school and I had this new set of friends,” Tori Spelling recalled. “I went to a really academic school where I totally stood out because I was not academic. I was creative, and it was a lot for me.”

After dinner one night, Tori flung open her bedroom door to find her brother standing there. That’s when she said she “pulled up my letter opener, and I ran out and tried to stab him.”

On the podcast episode, Tori and Randy were able to have a good laugh about it, and his big sister clarified that she never would have actually stabbed him.

The brother and sister shared other memories on Monday’s episode of “misSPELLING” too. Randy gave some credit to his sister for helping him through some tough times. Specifically, Tori Spelling helped convince their parents to transfer Randy to a new school so that he could have a better experience.

“You suggested the school I ended up going to because you had close friends and you said, ‘It was smaller. I think he’s really going to like it and thrive there’ and I did,” he remembered. “I thank you for that. You went to bat for me.”

New episodes of the “misSPELLING” podcast come out weekly on iHeartRadio.
