‘Selling Sunset’ Season 8: Dramatic Trailer & Premiere Date
Selling Sunset Season 8 is just around the corner. Netflix subscribers have been eagerly anticipating more drama and chaos from the Oppenheim Group real estate agency in sunny California.
While the agents compete to sell homes and keep their heads above water in the ever-changing real estate market, they’ll have their share of personal drama too.
Can the agents work through their drama to successfully pull off another sale? Check out the trailer and see what’s coming up with season.
Selling Sunset Season 8 Deals With Another Dramatic Break-Up
Selling Sunset never shies away from conflict and drama. But this year, a lot of it will center around one of the newer agents, Chelsea Lazkani. TMZ reported earlier in the year she and her husband Jeff filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Chrishell Stause’s divorce from actor Justin Hartley was a major storyline several seasons ago. Now, it seems like it’s Chelsea’s turn.
“I heard information that could really affect families, marriages,” Nicole Young gossips in the teaser for the new season. Of course, this could be directed toward any member of the Oppenheim Group.
But then, another voice chimes in, “I did hear something about Chelsea’s husband.”
There are still plenty of unknowns about the unfolding divorce, but Chelsea did previously confirm it would be a focal point in Selling Sunset Season 8. Castmates Chrishell Stause and Emma Hernan have thankfully been there for her through the whole ordeal.
“Chrishell and Emma, who are my best friends in the entire world, they’ve been my rocks throughout this season,” she told E! over the summer. “The funny thing is that when you associate yourself with the mess, you end up in mess too. So, unfortunately, they got themselves intertwined a little bit but they’re here for it.”
The Oppenheim Group Deals With Inflation & Sky-High House Prices
Inflation has been a major problem across the country. And as seen on Selling Sunset this year, not even the rich and famous are immune from the effects. In the trailer, Brett and Jason confirm that each agent will need to bring their best performance to keep selling homes.
“The market is s–t right now,” Brett tells the agents. “And if you want to work at the Oppenheim Group, you have to solve problems.”
Since several of the agents are known for causing problems instead of solving them, this could certainly be an interesting season.
