Lisa Vanderpump Clarifies Status Of TomTom
Lisa Vanderpump is clarifying the status of TomTom after Peter Madrigal insinuated it was gone. The former Vanderpump Rules star spoke out about what he had seen when he was at the restaurant lounge. More so, he had heard some rumblings but were they accurate? LVP is setting the record straight while giving credit to Peter at the same time.
Lisa Vanderpump Clarifies Status Of TomTom
Recently, Vanderpump Rules alum Peter Madrigal shared some details about TomTom. This is the restaurant lounge owned by Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd. Yet, 5% of it is also owned by Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz. However, once PUMP closed, Ken and Lisa moved it right next door to TomTom. Then, they started to feature PUMP and its signage but Peter noted that he did not believe the TomTom sign was up. More so, he had heard the Toms had been bought out and it was being rebranded:
“I looked at it the other night and I don’t think the TomTom sign is on anymore. It’s something I noticed the other night. She’s rebranding it as Pump. When you walk into that building, formerly known as TomTom, there’s a gate and it says Pump above it.”
Now, Lisa is speaking up about what Peter had said and she wants the truth to be known. Is PUMP overtaking TomTom? Have the Toms been bought out? Or, is something else going on? According to Reality Blurb!, Peter was incorrect in what he had said on The Sarah Fraser Show. Lisa shared this tidbit about the merging of the restaurants:
“When we closed Pump, we moved some of the staff and our chef to TomTom, as they were so good, so we’ve been affectionately calling the back garden of TomTom the Pump Garden. But that happened months ago! [I] hadn’t thought about rebranding it all, but thanks for the idea Peter.”
So, it looks like Lisa Vanderpump has been doing her own thing with the two restaurants but TomTom appears to be safe for now. PUMP had been in West Hollywood for a decade when they had problems with the lease. Therefore, it closed but LVP did not want to lose it completely.
Problems With The Toms
Lisa Vanderpump had offered Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval their TomTom investment back when they were opening Schwartz & Sandy’s. They were financially struggling and she knew that but they declined at the time. Then ‘Scandoval’ happened and Sandoval’s name was tarnished leaving his businesses in hot water. Both Schwartz & Sandy’s and TomTom were getting horrid reviews after he cheated on Ariana Madix. Even his recent lawsuit against Ariana, which was eventually dropped, caused stress in his businesses. So, to not want to work with him would make a lot of sense.
