Now that Sam is history, he is breaking his silence and sharing his thoughts on his exit. He revealed watching it all play back was tough. He said, “As tough as this was to watch, I’m thankful.” Sam went on to say that he thanks Jenn for her “fearlessness” and for teaching him that he can open back up after the past he endured.

Sam also said, “I’m not perfect. And I don’t claim to be. But I do know where my heart is and the love I have inside of me. And I’m looking forward to the day I get to share that with someone.”

He Won The First Impression Rose

Sam McKinney was a front-runner up until this point in the show. Jenn Tran even gave him the first impression rose. However, he didn’t seem to be able to express his feelings very well. He seemed more focused on the physical bond they shared.

During his video, he said, “I wish I was able to truly show how I felt in that moment right there, but that love that I carry is visceral, it’s instinctive and it’s beyond description. It just didn’t work in that setting and that’s OK.”

Of course, he is referring to his conversation with Jenn just before The Bachelorette sent him packing.

Fans have continued to support Sam and he thanked them for their kindness. His family has stood by his side through it all and even criticized the franchise on social media for portraying Sam in a bad light.

What do you think about Sam’s video and caption? Is he sincere?
