Casey Affleck Wants To Be ‘The Bachelor’?
Actor Casey Affleck recently spoke to longtime friend and costar Matt Damon in a BFF test with BuzzFeed UK. During their question and answer session to see how well they know each other the duo were asked which reality television show they could see the other being a part of. Matt’s response got everyone talking. Keep reading to find out what Casey said about being a part of Bachelor Nation.
Casey Affleck Wants To Be The Bachelor?
Matt Damon and Casey Affleck have been friends for 43 years. Casey is of course the brother of Ben Affleck. Since Matt and Casey are starring in a new movie together, The Instigators, they did a Q&A with BuzzFeed UK.
They were asked which reality television show they could see the other being a part of. Matt jokingly told Casey he could be a part of Bachelor Nation. While Matt may have meant it as a joke, Casey said his response wasn’t too far-fetched.
Casey said, “I thought about it. I thought that would be really fun. I swear I gave it some real thought.”
He even thought about what his season would be like. Casey said, “He went on there and just did it fully committed to it, really did it as well as [he] could.” He then added, “That was a good guess.” So, it sounds like at one point Casey was really considering being The Bachelor.
Matt jokingly said it would be great television to watch but that he could see him being better equipped to be on the History Channel show Alone.
Of course, that possibility is probably out of the question as he now reportedly has a girlfriend and has for the past few years.
After Matt’s guess, Casey weighed in as well saying that he could be Matt being on American Idol after all the talent shows he’s seen him compete in.
Who Is The Bachelor 2025?
While it’s not Casey Affleck, the new Bachelor for the 2025 season was officially revealed on Monday night. ABC exec Rob Mills tweeted out the huge news that Grant Ellis is the new lead.
Grant was eliminated on Jenn Tran’s season of The Bachelorette. There is only about a month until filming will begin for Grant’s season. Mills said they announced his identity early so compatible women could apply for the show.
