Trouble In Paradise
There is trouble in paradise for two of the couples on the show. Kim and Barry Plath separated in 2022. However, they did not file for divorce until this year. Olivia and Ethan Plath also filed for divorce. They did this at a much faster pace than Kim and Barry. However, neither of the relationships was working out. It was the best for everyone in the end. However, Olivia has said she will never rule out the possibility of being with Ethan again in the future. Fans could tell Ethan did not want the divorce, but Olivia was certain this was what she needed. However, Kim is the reason Ethan and Olivia did not have a relationship with his family. This was unfortunate for everyone and may never get fixed.
Kim Plath Has Changed Her Ways
Kim Plath has changed her ways since her separation from Barry. With her older children, they grew up very religious on a farm in Georgia. They were not allowed sugar, or makeup, and had to wear certain clothing that met their parents’ expectations. However, Kim has seemed to ease up on her younger children. They are allowed to have piercings and wear makeup. Micah has a girlfriend that he is living with before marriage. This use to would not have been okay with Kim. She is one of the main reasons Olivia and Ethan split. Also, this is why they did not have a relationship with her. However, Kim has said that she likes Micah’s girlfriend and is happy for them. Maybe she has changed a lot. Fans hope so.
It seems that Kim is easing up on her younger children. She saw what it did to her relationship with her older children and did not want to make the same mistakes. However, it makes fans wonder if Barry was behind the controlling rules with their children. Regardless, she seems to be having a better relationship with all of her children.
