Charles weight gain came from his rough past. The My 600-lb Life star was addicted to meth. He got kicked out of their house due to his addiction. As a result, he became homeless for some time and even had trouble with the law. Charles went to rehab and began to pursue a healthy lifestyle. But his addiction to drugs was turned into food.
Charles struggled to follow Dr. Now’s weight loss programs. He became too comfortable with his brother’s care, leading to his decision to reject Dr. Now’s bariatric surgery. He could only drop 72 pounds before parting ways with Dr. Now, bringing him down to 604 lbs. However, things have been better for Charles behind cameras.

Charles has been documenting his weight loss journey since his episode ended. Many of his posts today are photos of himself doing physical and outdoor activities. He also likes to share clips of his dogs. But what caught the attention of many was the My 600-lb Life star’s post in May, asking for donations to get back with Dr. Now.
He also added in his fundraiser that he wants to purchase a big-tire bike so he can exercise more. It appears that Charles Bridgeman is starting to regret his past decisions during his early days with Dr. Now and wants to prove that he’s a changed man.

His dedication inspired many. He even uploaded a new photo of himself last month, showing a much healthier figure.
