Ryan Paevey has recently made some big announcements. He has revealed that he has “stepped back” from acting. He has also deleted all of his social media accounts but IG. Moreover, he has shared his heartbreak over his mother’s stage 4 lung cancer. This led to sharing with over 1,200 fans who tuned in to his Instagram Stories his prediction that he will grow old alone.
It may be hard to believe that the 39-year-old former Hallmark Hunk would think he would be anything but attached. He has legions of fans. Moreover, he is considered one of the most handsome men in the world. What led to this surprising declaration?
This all started with him sharing how he has been his mother’s caregiver. Her battle has inspired him to make some significant changes. That includes exercise, and eating right.
Next, he reduced his own risk of getting lung cancer by quitting smoking just over a decade ago. Also, when he moved to San Diego to help care for his mom, he cut down on the booze. He no longer drinks as much as he used to.
However, it turns out that his mother’s health is not the only reason he has been taking better care of himself. The Unleashing Mr. Darcy star has cleaned up his habits because he is convinced that there will not be anyone around to care for him should he get ill.
I’ve thought a lot about, you know, the things that I put into my body…because it’s shaping up to look like there isn’t going to be anybody around when I’m old, so I need to be healthy and then drop.

On Friday, Ryan Paevey spoke to his devoted fans and answered a cornucopia of questions about his life. The surprising announcement which came from this was his declaration that he would live out his old days alone.
Besides revealing that he is eating better, stopped smoking and cut down on drinking he also shared that he believes his fate is “sad.”
My existence is going to be a kind of sad one. I sort of exist to be consumed by the people that I love, and then at some point I’ll just expire. That’s kind of what It’s looking like right now.
His fans insisted that his mother’s illness and stepping away from acting is likely why he is feeling this way.
