Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird & New Man Make 1st Public Appearance
Just days after Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird and her husband of six years, Josh Efird, filed for divorce, she is stepping out. The mother of four and her new man, Darrick Kitchens made their first public appearance together. There have been signs that they are seeing one another but nothing concrete. On August 1st, 2024, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird shocked fans and followers when she filed for divorce. She and Josh Efird had been together for nearly a decade and married for six years. Plus, they had four children and had been through a tremendous amount as a couple. Unfortunately, as Pumpkin shared, they had split a few months back and it was a mutual decision. However, they were going to work together for the sake of their kids which was all that mattered. Both parties wasted no time moving on with new partners.
Josh began dating a pregnant woman named Keely whereas Pumpkin was dating Darrin Kitchens. He was a friend of the family and may be related to Josh. Furthermore, Keely is allegedly close friends with Darrin’s ex-wife they are all in this interesting circle together. Despite some praise for Darrin being an upstanding man and father, his ex-wife has her own story to tell but claims Pumpkin knows all about his disturbing ways. Though nothing has been confirmed or denied, Darrin took to his Facebook page to share a sweet snap and sentiment of the two.
The two were dressed up and, according to Pumpkin’s page, they were at a Zach Bryan show. More so, from Darrin’s caption, he is clearly smitten with Pumpkin and they look very happy to be together. Did followers feel the same?

Loving Pumpkin’s New Glow
Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird’s followers were thrilled to see how happy she looked on her night out with Darrin Kitchens. All they wanted was for her to be safe. The two are still listed as single which makes sense as she is currently going through a divorce. However, Pumpkin and Darrin appeared quite grateful to have this night out to themselves. Whatever way this relationship goes or where it stands, as long as they are happy and careful with their hearts, that is all that matters.
