Mama June fans reacted to a social media post from Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efrid about her business. Many think she is delusional about the success of her “store,” and others think the IRS should be alerted to her business practices. Keep reading to see what they’re saying.

Fans Think Lauryn Efird Is ‘Delusional’ About Her Business

Reddit user shared a screenshot of a recent post on Lauryn Efrid’s Facebook page. She shared a post talking about building a business from scratch and marketing all by yourself. Pumpkin wrote, “I’ve worked my a** off to build what I have & continuing to do so. Forever grateful for the opportunity.”

The original poster wrote sarcastically, “Pumpkin, a true entrepreneur.” Mama June fans rushed to the comment section to sound off on Lauryn’s “business.”

One commenter alleged that Pumpkin buys “cheap sh*t off temu and shein” and then hikes up the price. They continued, pointing out that she treated her customers poorly and called the business a “scam.”

A second Mama June fan called Pumpkin “delusional.” The person wrote,”Staying up late to hawk products created and made by others (and slapping her ‘famous’ sister’s name on them) is not starting a business from scratch.”

Without using her sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson for clout, “She would be a nobody trying to sell temu junk commenting fraud by saying it’s name brand,” a third person pointed out. Other comments called her a “grifter” like her mom, June Shannon, and a “fat slob.”

Mama June Fans Waiting For The IRS To Step In

Another person suggested that the IRS will cause problems for Pumpkin if she’s not careful about paying what she owes in taxes. “What I’m waiting for is the Georgia Department of Revenue and the IRS to investigate her with respect to her ‘claimed income’ on her taxes versus what she’s actually raking in,” they wrote.

The IRS is notified once you are paid more than $600 through any one payment site. If she isn’t claiming all of the money she’s making, it could cause some serious trouble for her. As one fan pointed out, the IRS getting involved could be “a hell of a storyline for next season.”

Whether or not Pumpkin will be in trouble with the IRS has yet to be seen. The Mama June star is worth around $200,000, but it’s unknown how much she rakes in with her online business.

In addition to her online store, Pumpkin has been on television for years. She does meet and greets with fans. She’s also on Cameo where she offers messaging to fans for $7.99. Not to mention, she has a fairly large presence on social media, which helps her land deals with brands like Bloom and Boston Market.
