Katie Maloney Talks Connection With ‘Love Island’ Hottie

Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney is dishing on her connection with Love Island USA hottie, Connor Newsum. The two have sparked a lot of chatter after being seen out together but is there anything going on? More so, will they continue their romance? Keep reading for more details.

Katie Maloney Talks Connection With Love Island Hottie

It has not been an easy situation when it comes to romance for Katie Maloney. She fell in love with Tom Schwartz when she was in her early twenties. Despite the fact it was often a combative and toxic relationship, he proposed in Season 4 of Vanderpump Rules. By Season 5, the two tied the knot even though Schwartz was caught being unfaithful and they tried their best to make it work. They went so far as to try and start a family, but before Season 10 began, Katie asked for a divorce. She has been playing the field with men and women.

In Season 11, she and Schwartz both dated Tori Keeth and competed for her affection. By the end, it appeared they had both given up and he started dating someone new. As for Katie, she was enjoying the single life and ended up in Fiji where Love Island USA was filming. Her good friend, co-star, and business partner, Ariana Madix was the Season 6 host so it made sense that Katie would pop in for a visit and appear on Aftersun. She then returned home and was seen on a dinner date with show bombshell, Connor Newsum.

He came in to steal hearts, was coupled with JaNa Craig and Leah Kateb but ended up being sent home. Though he texted co-star, Cass Laudano after they left, it seems that fizzled. So, what is going on with Katie Maloney and Connor after their little dinner date? According to Us Weekly, she addressed it on her Disrespectfully podcast. Co-host, Dayna Kathan asked about it to which Katie said:

“Was I on a date? I’m not going to deny anything. I don’t think it’s fair to be yapping about it.”

Dayna noted she does know what is going on but is keeping her mouth shut.

What’s Next?

Though Katie Maloney admitted she was on a date, she did not share if there would be more to come. Both she and Connor Newsum live in California which is a positive thing. However, she is very busy with her sandwich shop, Something About Her, which she co-owns with Ariana Madix. As for Ariana, she is currently back on Broadway in Chicago as Roxie Hart. Yet, she will be hosting the Love Island USA reunion airing August 19th on Peacock. Hopefully, she will ask Connor about his status with her good friend so fans can get the tea if Katie won’t spill it.
