‘GMA’ Michael Strahan Returns To The Show With Adorable Pics

Good Morning America Host Returns After Long Hiatus
The beloved Good Morning America host has been missing from the morning show a lot recently. He took several weeks off to be there for his daughter as she battled brain cancer earlier this year.
Isabella Strahan appeared alongside her dad on GMA to discuss her diagnosis. In October 2023, she went to the hospital after experiencing some worrisome symptoms. She wound up having to have emergency brain surgery, followed by months of chemo and radiation, plus two more brain surgeries.
Now, Michael Strahan’s daughter is officially cancer-free. She shared the news via her YouTube channel in July. After that, she took off to the Bahamas to celebrate with her twin sister, Sophia. It is assumed that Michael also joined the girls for vacation since he’s been MIA again for a couple of weeks.
Michael Strahan’s Dog Zuma Has Had Enough Of The GMA Anchor
He made his return on Monday, August 5. His comeback was accompanied by absolutely adorable photos of his dog. He took to Instagram to share a few snapshots of himself with his pup, Zuma.
Michael Strahan captioned the post, “I love bothering Zuma when she looks like she could care less about being bothered,” along with laughing and heart emojis.
The first photo showed the former NFL player laughing while hugging Zuma. Admittedly, the pup didn’t look impressed with Michael Strahan’s antics. She leaned away in the picture, giving him a mean side-eye.
As the photos progressed in the array, the Good Morning America host hugged Zuma harder and harder. The pup looks less and less thrilled with each scroll. Take a look.

In the comment section, his daughter Isabella wrote, “Photo creds,” claiming her photography work. Other fans on Instagram commented on how displeased Zuma looks in the photos.
One person commented, “She’s like ‘here he goes again.'” Another laughed, “That face! Her expression says it all!!” A third fan chimed in, telling Michael Strahan, “Now that’s love,” while a fourth expressed they were glad to see him back on GMA.
Several people also took the time to express their well wishes for his daughter, Isabella. “So glad to hear about your daughter,” one follower wrote. Another shared their experience with the same condition. They wrote, “So glad Isabella is cancer free. My son is also clear of Medullo for 12 years. Strong warriors!”
With the NFL season coming up, fans can expect Michael Strahan to take Mondays off again. He will appear on Fox NFL Sunday to cover the day’s games and return to GMA on Tuesday each week.
