Fans Worry For HGTV’s Christina Hall’s Children
HGTV fans felt pretty surprised when Christina Hall and her third husband Josh announced their split in mid-July. While sources close to the couple assert she never wanted another divorce, stories don’t quite seem to add up.
While Josh shares one version of events, it seems like Christina has a completely different story. But no matter what actually happened, fans feel incredibly sorry for the HGTV star’s children.
Josh & Christina Hall’s Version Of Events Don’t Match
Josh Hall publicly shared on Instagram that his split with Christina completely caught him off guard.
“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately the internet is forever,” Josh shared on Instagram. “We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are.”

However, Christina Hall doesn’t necessarily seem to share her ex-husband’s views.
“Christina was blindsided by divorce…” one Redditor shared online. “Compared to what other articles say… here is a comment on her IG post of her & her daughter“
Clearly, her version of events doesn’t match what Josh has publicly stated. One Instagram user calls Christina out for surprising Josh with the divorce.
“Get your facts straight Hollywood. Josh filed for divorce … I was actually ‘blindsided.'”
TMZ reported that Josh filed for divorce first. However, that’s just a matter of filing the paperwork. It’s not known who actually initiated the divorce discussions.
Redditors Express Sadness For The HGTV Star’s Children
Christina Hall shares her oldest two children with her first husband, Tarek El Moussa. She also has a son with her second husband, Ant Anstead. She and Josh did not have any children together, but her children did know him as their stepfather for years.
Redditors expressed concern for the children in the comments, writing:
- “I feel SO bad for her kids. There’s no way all three of them won’t need extensive therapy as adults.”
- “I am sure that this impacts all of her children, but Josh seemed particularly close to Hudson. I feel so bad for him because he’s too young to understand what is happening. It was only a matter of a few months ago that Christina was constantly posting pics of Hudson with Josh saying he was a wonderful step-dad.”

Without a doubt, this is one celebrity split that’s bound to get messier before it resolves. Reports indicate Josh Hall is out at The Flip Off, while Christina Hall reportedly continues filming as a single woman.
