Ironically, even though it was Colt Johnson who first got involved with the 90 Day Fiance franchise, his mother, Debbie Johnson, has been even more successful at finding love. Debbie put herself out there on The Single Life. Hitting her 70s, she was ready to dip her toes back into the dating pool and find love.
Just like anyone who puts themselves back on the market after being away from the dating scene for so long, you have to make your way through more than a few duds before you eventually find your person. Debbie did just that before the sparks flew with a man from Canada named Tony Starcevich.

Without intending to, Debbie Johnson essentially found her own 90 Day Fiance scenario, falling for a man from Canada. Even though Canada is a lot closer to America, it’s still another country, and many of the same rules still apply in terms of needing a visa to stay there for an extended period, along with other restrictions that come with staying in the country.
Since finding and falling for Tony Starcevich, Debbie Johnson has been splitting her time between the country up north and the United States. As much as 90 Day Fiance fans are happy that Debbie got another chance at love later in life, the distance can certainly be a struggle, as is often the case with most long-distance relationships.

Come November 2024, Debbie Johnson will officially be 73 years old. She has shown off weight loss and more since viewers first met her years ago in Colt Johnson’s scenes with Larissa Lima.
However, between having to be away from the love of her life for long periods and dropping weight at her age, many 90 Day Fiance fans are concerned for her, with many saying that she looks more and more frail these days.

On July 7, Debbie shared updates looking to sell some items. She also confirmed that she was in Port Coquitlam, a city in British Columbia. So, despite getting up there in age, Debbie and Tony appear to still be going strong, making them both one of the most unlikely and one of the most successful pairs that this franchise has ever produced.
