7 Little Johnstons fans have noticed that Emma Johnston and Jonah Johnston’s girlfriend, Ashley, have become increasingly close over the last few weeks. Ashley went on the family trip to Puerto Rico, and she and Emma appear to be the best of friends these days.
While the 7 Little Johnstons family feud has been going on with Anna Johnston, many viewers have even called out Emma for getting closer to Ashley as a way to replace Anna, because it used to be Emma and Anna who would do a lot of different activities together, like going to concerts and more.
TLC Engagement Rumor Made The Rounds Online
Not long ago, Emma Johnston shared a pic with Ashley that made 7 Little Johnstons fans think that Jonah Johnston would be announcing engagement news soon. Emma shared a pic with Ashley and Leighton Bolden, but, it was her caption that got a lot of TLC viewers talking.
In the caption to go along with the photo, 7 Little Johnstons cast member Emma Johnston wrote: “Look who’s back…my other sister.”
With how much time Ashley and Emma have been spending together, and with Ashley going on things like the family trip to Puerto Rico, many viewers believed that Jonah Johnston might have already proposed to Ashley, and that the family may be keeping this under wraps for the sake of a future TLC storyline.
7 Little Johnstons: Emma Johnston Breaks Silence On Engagement Rumor Making The Rounds
With as long as Jonah Johnston and his girlfriend have been together, it’s safe to say no one would be all that surprised if the pair decided to take their relationship to the next level. Particularly with Ashley accompanying everyone on the family trip to Puerto Rico, it would certainly make sense that an engagement would be the logical next step.
Recently, Emma Johnston cleared up the engagement rumor that started because of the photo she shared and what she chose to put for the caption. Emma recently shared a pic collage with some of her other siblings, as well as with Ashley.
Emma blurred the pic with Ashley in the corner, but, if you decode the text she included with that pic, Emma wrote: “she’s not engaged, she’s like a sister too me.”
So, at least for now, it doesn’t look like there is an engagement just yet, but, it certainly looks like Ashley has made herself part of the family already regardless.
