Emma Johnston Showed Her Ugly Side During Ongoing Family Feud
One of the many reasons that fans can point to showing how Emma Johnston’s behavior has taken a turn would be the 7 Little Johnstons family feud going on between Anna Johnston and the rest of her relatives. As all of this has been going on, Emma took some not-so-subtle jabs at Anna, and viewers have not liked seeing this side of Emma whatsoever.
This was a situation where Emma clearly put her mean streak on display. She did not refer to Anna by name, however, 7 Little Johnstons fans keeping up with this latest family drama knew who she was referring to. Many fans felt these actions on Emma’s part were petty and nowhere near justified, especially since Anna is a fan favorite.
TLC Fans Called Emma Out For Petty Behavior?
Over the last few weeks in particular, as this 7 Little Johnstons family feud has been playing out, viewers have been pointing out what they see as petty behavior from Emma Johnston. She has been getting even closer with Jonah Johnston’s girlfriend, Ashley.
While it’s never a bad thing to be on good terms and close with your brother’s girlfriend, many 7 Little Johnstons fans accused Emma of using Ashley as a replacement for Anna. Emma has been taking pics and doing activities with Ashley the same way she used to do with Anna, and many viewers believe that these actions were intentionally petty to hurt Anna’s feelings.
7 Little Johnstons: Emma Johnston Following In Amber Johnston’s Footsteps?
Emma Johnston is an adult now, and she continues to come into her own. However, a large chunk of the 7 Little Johnstons fanbase doesn’t like what Emma is becoming. Some even call out Amber Johnston for shaping another family member to be as petty as she is.

- In response, another TLC fan said: “yes I see it too.”
- A third person said: “Emma has really drunk the Amber-Aid… and it’s really not Kool. She now has Elizabeth, Ashley, and Ella on a pedestal but has tossed Anna, who I believe she was fairly close with aside. This has Amber all over it, and it makes me sad.”
While Emma Johnston is still young, and while she still has a lot of growing up to do, it’s clear that many 7 Little Johnstons fans don’t like the current trajectory she is on. So, it’ll be interesting to see if she decides to lean into these behaviors, or, if she decides to change course moving forward.
