Steve Harvey has had a long and successful tenure as the host of Family Feud. He may not have been the first host, but, many longtime viewers agree that he is the best host the show has ever had.
Even so, that hasn’t stopped people from showing concern for the popular game show host, and not just among viewers, either. Top execs from the network recently talked about the fact that, as much as they love Steve Harvey, and as much as he is the best at what he does, there is concern that he has been walking around with a short fuse.
Savvy Host Has Been Losing His Cool
While Steve Harvey’s antics during the show are a big part of what makes Family Feud viewers tune in, there have been instances of late where the host has taken things too far. On several occasions, Steve has mocked players for some of their answers.
Harvey’s reactions to Family Feud players and their responses are a big part of what makes the show and keeps viewers coming back for more. However, even viewers agree that in some situations, Harvey roasts contestants a little too hard, calling them out for various “stupid” answers.
Family Feud: Problems At Home To Blame For Steve Harvey?
Some speculation regarding Steve Harvey’s recent short fuse had to do with him potentially having problems in his marriage to his wife. The couple recently celebrated another wedding anniversary, and all seems to be well with his marriage.
However, according to the latest reports, Steve Harvey is pulled in all sorts of different directions once he is off the clock and at home. Between his children from previous marriages and the blended family he has with his current wife, Marjorie Harvey, Steve has seven kids. According to a recent insider, they all want a “piece” of him.
The insider spilled the tea on the popular Family Feud host and his family situation, saying: “He dotes on his wife and seven kids, but everybody wants a piece of him, and they’re never happy unless they’re with him. Even on holidays he’s on the hook to make arrangements, find hotels, choose the dinner place and make sure everyone’s getting along.”
It seems, with as much as Steve Harvey works, even when he is at home, he doesn’t get the time and space he needs to unwind and take care of himself, as he is always the one in charge. The insider went on to say that the Family Feud host is “worn out,” and, with that much on his plate between work and home, this certainly explains a lot.
