‘Unexpected’ Fans Concerned For Tyra Boisseau’s Daughter, Layla

Unexpected Fans Concerned For Tyra Boisseau’s Daughter, Layla
Tyra Boisseau became a teen mother along with her sister, Tiarra Boisseau, and their cousin, Taylor, as seen in Season 3 of Unexpected. Since the three ladies were raised together, they were thrilled to raise their girls the same way. Tyra had some ups and downs with her baby daddy, Alex Wilson, and by Season 5, he had a baby with another lady. This caused a lot of mistrust in their relationship so they struggled and were constantly on and off. After the season ended, Tiarra announced that she and her sister were done with the show. Not too long after, it was discovered that Tyra was expecting her second child with Alex.
They parted ways again and she welcomed a son but they seem to be working things out. Recently, Tyra was live on TikTok which is her way of making an income and engaging with fans while Alex played a game. However, fans could see that Layla wanted to go to sleep but would not do so without her mother’s help. They were hurt and upset that Tyra could not sign off to care for Layla with a Reddit OP writing this:
- Both Tyra and Alex are loud asl he’s on the game , she’s on live but she’s expected to just go lay down 😐 instead of getting off, she threatens Layla and says “Ima gonna get of here if you don’t go to sleep” .. so weird 🙄
Did this bother any other Unexpected fans and how did they think Tyra Boisseau should behave?

- That’s…unfortunate. I really hoped Tyra would not be that kind of mom.
- Someone mentioned last year that she would be doing lives where she was cooking Layla dinner at 10:30 or 11pm and then would ignore her for hours afterward.
Stop Watching
One follower noted that if fans stopped watching the TikTok Lives then Tyra Boisseau would stop this behavior. Another added that they could not believe these people do not have real jobs. Finally, more chimed in with how poorly Tyra has always treated Layla when she is on her Lives:
- she’s always treated Layla like crap during her lives 🚮 she’ll literally be screaming in the background running around obviously attention seeking & wanting her moms attention & she doesn’t get it, Tyra needs to get off lives i cannot stand her & do not see how people worship the ground she walks on.
- A lot of people on here say that’s typical of Tyra. Like she would be on live at a very late hour and Layla would still be awake and being ignored.
So, this is not unusual but as aforementioned, if Tyra keeps getting views, she will continue her bad behavior. Though she appears to be getting called out, Tyra is clearly not losing enough income to change her ways.
