‘Big Brother’ Julie Chen Moonves Addresses House Bully Angela
Each week, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves reacts to the house’s eviction and other things going on with the houseguests. This week’s elimination had both fans and at least one BB houseguest shocked. What did Julie have to say about it?
Julie Chen Moonves Talks About Lisa’s Reaction To Eviction
On Thursday, Lisa Weintraub was evicted from the Big Brother house. She was under the impression that she was working with other people in the house to get Angela Murray kicked out. However, the other people in the house were actually plotting against Lisa the whole time.
Fans were stunned by this twist because Angela had already become known as one of the house bullies. At one point, during the 24/7 live feeds, she was seen mocking Lisa. Before targeting Lisa, Angela was bullying Matt Hardeman before he also got the boot.
Following Lisa’s elimination, BB host Julie Chen Moonves spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the shocking decision.
After all the drama surrounding Angela, most people assumed she would be the one to leave the house this week. Julie said that there is one clear reason they chose to eliminate Lisa instead of Angela. “Bottom line is the house felt Lisa was a tougher competitor to beat, so they had to evict her over Angela,” she told EW.
Julie also spoke about how shocked Lisa was by her eviction. “I watched her visibly thinking to herself: How could this be?” the Big Brother host said. “And her facial expressions showed me she was piecing things together in complete astonishment.”
Before they started speaking, Julie Chen Moonves also said that it seemed like Lisa was replaying all of the conversations she had with other people in the house. “It was tough to watch, and my heart felt for her,” she said.
How Did Angela Murray Become The Big Brother Bully?
When it comes to Angela’s behavior in the house, the Big Brother host said she feels like the house bully is hurting. “Hurt people, hurt people,” Julie said of Angela. She also pointed out that we saw Angela get emotional in the Diary Room. The BB houseguest talked about her elementary school days and how she never fit in. While it doesn’t excuse her actions, Julie said that it makes sense.
The Big Brother host also weighed in on why people in the house aren’t using their time more wisely. You’d think that the individuals who don’t win in the BB AI Arena would use their time to try and get other people in the house on their side, but they haven’t. When asked why, Julie simply said, “Honey, I wish I knew!”
She pointed out that this week Angela assumed she’d be kicked off and Lisa felt safe. So, neither one of them felt the need to campaign for themselves. However, we might see this change in the weeks to come.
Big Brother airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS. The reality TV phenomenon also airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. EST.

I don’t think this is good for people. Our country is having way to much of this kind of bullying behavior. We don’t need our families see it play out as a game.!!
