The View just announced that it is undergoing a massive change for Season 28. Fans have had enough of the long-running talk show and are ready for it to end. So, will this modification help appease viewers? Keep reading for more details as to what will be changing.

The View Undergoing Massive Change For Season 28

Over the last few seasons, viewers have grown tired of the harshness that comes with The View. When Barbara Walters started the show, the concept was to bring women from all walks of life together. They were to express their viewpoints in a conversational atmosphere and appeal to a general audience. Unfortunately, as the years have gone on, it has become much more combative. When someone does not like what they hear, they can walk off or have a fit. More so, with it being an election year, viewers do not always appreciate the way that the hosts approach some topics.

They deem them offensive and tone deaf with one fan writing this:

“They are so comfortable in their echo chamber that they are unaware of how offensive they are. They are cognitively unable to respectfully hear a different opinion. I don’t know one person who watches The View. Who is paying to keep them on air?”

That being said, the show was renewed for another season and will return in September will the regular lineup. Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar both take one day off every week as retirement rumors loom. Now, to spice up Season 28, the show will undergo a massive change. So, what can fans look forward to seeing? According to TV Line, they are leaving their usual studio and moving to a brand new one. Sunny Hostin broke the news Friday, August 2nd during the show’s season finale:

“After 10 years and 2,143 episodes, this is the last show we’ll do from this studio. We’re sad to say goodbye but we are thrilled to be moving to a brand-new studio downtown — brand-new, state-of-the-art — and we will see you there in September for the premiere of Season 28!”

Are Fans Ready?

So, after The View fans found out about this big change, what were their thoughts? Were they excited to see what the new studio would look like or were they indifferent?

  • I’ve been to the show 6 times there, loved that studio. Can’t wait for the new one! ❤️
  • Yay! Can’t wait for the new season and studio! Enjoy your vacation! 😍😍😍
  • Damn, I never got to see the old studio but hope to visit the new!

Some viewers saw the initial photo of Whoopi behind the camera and thought she was leaving so they had quite the scare. Fortunately, it was just a tribute to the old studio. Others were upset that the ladies were taking a break during the pivotal time of the election. However, they will be back next month in a shiny new studio and hopefully, the break will give some who have grown tired of The View a chance to breathe.

Are you looking forward to seeing the new studio? More so, do you think it will look the same or be a major upgrade? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
