Big Brother 26 contestant Angela Murray is already someone fans love to hate. However, several internet sleuths seemed to think that Angela looked familiar. In fact, she’s appeared in several other CBS productions. Could she be a network plant? Here’s everything we know about Angela Murray.

Angela Murray Has Been On Television Before

So far, Angela is known for her ruthless gameplay style and for calling another houseguest “Crazy Eyes” on Season 26 of Big Brother. The 50-year-old woman is actually a television veteran.

On top of appearing in this season of Big Brother, Angela has also been a contestant on The Price Is Right and Let’s Make a Deal. She was also featured on House Calls With Dr. Phil. Learning this, many viewers are wondering if Angela Murray could be a CBS plant in BB 26.

Angela Murray is a 50-year-old mom and real estate agent from Utah. Her previous appearances on television were all on CBS. In 2019, she made her way down to the stage to join Drew Carey on The Price Is Right. Unfortunately for Angela, she didn’t make it very far on the game show. Before that, she appeared on Let’s Make a Deal with Wayne Brady. That TV appearance helped her win $20,000.

Then, in 2021, Angela Murray popped up on an episode of House Calls With Dr. Phil. The episode followed a father and daughter who live together but didn’t speak to each other. She played the role of the “supermom” just trying to help her family with the help of the famous television doctor.

Big Brother has made it known that they don’t tend to cast wannabe models and actors. Angela seems to be an exception of sorts. She has experience being on television and portraying a likable personality. Could it have helped her land her role on BB 26? Maybe.

Angela’s Strategy For Big Brother Is Already Playing Out

The chances of Angela being a network plant are fairly low, but CBS knows television gold when they see it. Although she is an unlikely contestant on the reality TV show, she is swiftly becoming a star earlier on in the season. She knows how to stir up drama and there’s no doubt she’s got a solid strategy for playing the game.

Usually, older women don’t fare very well on BB, but it seems like fans are eager to see someone in her demographic win the game. Angela is determined to make that happen.

According to Angela’s Big Brother bio, she has said, “My strategy going into the Big Brother house will be really just being myself. Just unapologetic Angela and all that that encompasses. That someone who does wear their heart on their sleeve, I do have a big mouth. I’m not afraid to share my opinions and thoughts whether people want it or not.”

So far, she’s living up to her word. Angela won the first Head of Household (HOH) competition and has even managed to form alliances with other houseguests.

New episodes of Big Brother air three times a week (Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays) on CBS. Live feeds are available to stream on Pluto TV and Paramount+.

  1. I think Angela is a horrible person. I get no enjoyment in seeing her. She is a bully. If she doesn’t go soon I’m not going to watch BB this year.

  2. I really really dislike Angela, why keep a person that degrades and humiliates others. She is not kind at ALL. She really is a Bully, so this is her being herself, if she treats people like this in real life, shame on her. I would never take that crap from anyone….EVER!

  3. Angela needs to go!! She’s a bully, if she was bullying a person of color she would have been kicked out by now!!

  4. What happened to love one another?? Angela is a bully and this show needs to realize that! People have been removed before! It would serve her right! Crazy eyes is degrading to someone who’s not white, can you imagine if he said that to Julie?! come on get her off the show! have some respect for your viewers!

  5. If Angela is not voted out soon, I will stop watching BB. She is rude and so unkind to others. If that us what BB showcases, then it’s not my idea of good tv.

  6. Thank you for the above comments! My sentiments exactly. In the article: “likeable person”, “television gold”?? I CANNOT STAND HER. Her constant whining, her FAKE crying! I have not seen one tear drip from her eyes–not one! They had a chance to vote her off this week, but oh no, Leah had to use her POV to get Angela off?! Ever since her below-the-belt rant at Matt, I have disliked her intensely! She should’ve completely risen above, ignored the few comments Matt made in the HOH room that night! If she stays much longer, I will not be watching BB next year. I’m not enjoying the show at all. Telling all the young contestants “I love you so much!” while fake crying constantly. UGH!
