Anyone who watched My Life Is Murder Season 4 may be concerned that all the loose ends were tied too neatly. Is this Acorn TV series canceled? Or did the streamer renew this series for Season 5?

First the question. After watching the final two episodes of Season 4, a viewer asked if this is the end of Alexa Crowe and My Life is Murder. They felt that although they never really wondered about “the circumstances around the death of her late husband,” they felt that all the loose ends “had been tied up.” In addition, they pointed out that “the general ‘feel good’ scene at the beach seemed so final.”
They pointed out that this series is a “good mystery with a lighter tone.” They also credit Lucy Lawless’ brilliant portrayal as a big part of this balance. What was the response? Has there been an update from Acorn TV?
Matt Roush didn’t seem to think this was the end, and pointed out that “This wasn’t billed as a series finale.” Yet, he pointed out that there has not been a renewal announcement. However, they point out that this season’s finale had a “sense of closure;” instead of a “do-or-die cliffhanger.”
Therefore, it seems that Season 5 is a possibility. Moreover, there will be new storylines, since so much has already been resolved in Season 4.
Acorn TV Generally Announces Renewal When They Start Production
Will My Life Is Murder be back for Season 5? This may take some time before mystery fans will find out. That is because in general, the streamer doesn’t let fans know right after a season ends about the future of the series.
For the past couple of years, Acorn TV has announced a series renewal when they started production of the series. For example, Jane Seymour’s series with the streamer, Harry Wild, recently started production, and they announced a new season.
In addition, fans may need to be aware that Lucy Lawless is currently filming Spartacus: House Of Ashur. She is reprising her role as Lucretia. Hopefully, when she is done guest-starring in this series, she will start playing Alexa Crowe again.
