‘The Price Is Right’ Fans Want Game Cut Before New Season, Why?
The Price Is Right is famous for the plethora of games on the slate that contestants play. However, before the new season comes back on, there’s one game that many viewers never want to see again. So, which one is it?
The Price Is Right: Long-Running Game Show Has Had Unique Games Over The Years
The ultimate goal for any The Price Is Right contestant may be to make it all the way to the coveted Showcase Showdown and win the big prize, but, before anyone does, there are several smaller games along the way to getting there.
Over its long history, spanning decades, The Price Is Right has come up with some unique mini-games. Some are a slam dunk, and others completely miss the mark. However, no matter what game it is, players have the chance to win money and prizes if they succeed.
Game Show Is Currently On A Break
The Price Is Right is currently on a break. This means that there will be no episodes featuring Drew Carey until the new season starts later in the fall. Of course, this is typical for a lot of shows. Hosting and organizing popular game shows can be rigorous work, so, the crew certainly enjoys the breaks when they come around.
The only downside to that is for the fans of these shows. In some cases, some viewers are perfectly fine with watching re-runs until a new season resumes. For others, many take to different social media platforms to clamor for their favorite game shows to return, including The Price Is Right.
As of right now, new episodes of The Price Is Right won’t hit the airwaves until Season 53 of the game show. According to the latest reports, viewers can expect Season 53 to premiere between late September and early October.
The Price Is Right: Fans Want Game Gone Before Show Returns
Before the new season of The Price Is Right, viewers want a game gone from the roster of options. It turns out, they want Lucky Seven out. The show recently shared a clip of someone playing the game. In this case, players have to guess numbers for how much a car costs. They start out with seven dollars. For each number that they are off with their guesses, host Drew Carey takes a dollar back.
The goal of this The Price Is Right game is to correctly guess the price, including all the digits, while still having dollars remaining in the end. In this recent clip, thanks to some lucky guesses, the person playing the game actually won the car. However, the way many viewers see it, this game is too difficult, and should be given the boot.
