Kyle Chrisley Shares Positive Update On Social Media
On Sunday, Kyle Chrisley shared a few photos on Instagram to commemorate some time spent with his son. The post included three photos and a video clip of the father-son duo riding bikes near the beach.
In the caption, Kyle wrote, “While we were in Seaside I had the privilege of being able to take my son to see where I worked for my very first job, Modica Market.”
He continued, “We even biked there just as I did as a kid every morning on my way to work. So many summers were spent here @modicamarket and this was so special to me to be able to go back and get a sweet tea with @haidenchrisley.”
Several people took to the comment section to discuss Kyle’s other children. One person wrote, “I didn’t know you had a son.” Kyle simply responded, “I do.” Another person jumped in, correcting him stating that it was his “girlfriend’s child.”
The Chrisley Knows Best star was quick to set the record straight. “He is my child,” he wrote. “I actually adopted him and his sister. I’ve had them for almost 6 years. And it’s my wife, not my girlfriend.”
A few other people took to the comments to clarify that it was his “adopted son.” To this, Kyle Chrisley clapped back, writing, “Why are you coming onto my page putting labels on my relationship with MY child? We don’t use those labels in our home. He is my child. Period.”
Does Kyle Have A Relationship With Chloe Chrisley?
Of course, several people asked about Kyle’s involvement with his biological daughter, Chloe Chrisley. Chloe is currently being cared for by Kyle’s sister Savannah while her parents are serving their prison sentences.
One commenter in particular seemed to have a bone to pick with Kyle about his bio daughter. “Do you stop to think or care or worry that these posts might cut deep and have a profound psychological [effect] on your own daughter who is being raised by people other [than] her biological dad?” the person wrote. They continued, stating that seeing Kyle raise other children could have a profound impact on her mental health.
Todd and Julie Chrisley legally adopted Chloe several years ago. At the time, Kyle Chrisley was struggling with addiction and other issues. It was the best decision he could have made for his child. In his response, Kyle revealed that he’s not allowed (by Todd and his family) to have any contact with Chloe.
In addition to his son, Haiden Chrisley, Kyle also shares an adopted daughter, MacKenzie, with his wife Ashleigh Nelson.
