Jenn Tran’s ‘Bachelorette’ Suitor Breaks NDA, Lawsuit Coming?
Every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette needs a villain. One of Jenn Tran’s suitors isn’t happy about their portrayal on the show and seemed to break their NDA. Are they setting themselves up for a major lawsuit? Keep reading for more.
Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette Suitor Breaks NDA
Jenn Tran quickly narrowed her 25 possible suitors down to just 12. The Bachelorette lead and her men immediately ditched the U.S. for overseas adventures after the first night at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch. After viewers spotted rats scurrying across the floor, who could blame them?
The contestants quickly distanced themselves from Devin Strader after he kept stealing Jenn Tran away for more alone time. However, Devin isn’t the one getting the villain edit. Viewers have called out Sam McKinney for his multiple red flags, including allegedly bullying another contestant.
Opinions of Sam M. probably won’t improve after the next episode if the preview clip posted on the Bachelorette Instagram is an indication of his behavior. During a one-on-one date with Jenn Tran, the 27-year-old general contractor decides for both of them that they’ll jump off the side of a building with only bungee cords.
Jenn, 26, is less than enthused with the activity and the disregard for her feelings. Fans of the show flooded the comments with negative reactions to Sam M. He posted an emoji response.
For those who don’t speak emoji, his comment translates to “smoke and mirrors.” In other recent social media activity, he very well could have broken the NDA he signed with ABC.
He dropped several comments across social media platforms about the show giving him a bad edit. He said that he hoped to clear things up at the Men Tell All special. Sam McKinney effectively spoiled his own outcome on the TV show that relies heavily on building suspense.
The Men Tell All special doesn’t include the final two suitors, which means that Sam M. gets eliminated sometime before then. Could the Bachelorette contestant get sued for his slip-up?
Could They Get Sued?
The ABC head honchos take spoiling the Bachelor franchise very seriously. Blogger Reality Steve has been sued twice over the years for leaking spoilers from sources close to the show.
Season 15 Bachelorette contestant Luke Parker had to pay $100k for breaking his NDA. He made several unauthorized media appearances before his contract with the network was up.
ABC has yet to make any legal moves about Sam McKinney’s social media activity, but that doesn’t mean they won’t. Do you think he is out of line for spilling details about the season? Watch the sneak peek preview and sound off in the comments.

What is wrong with the Bachelorette? I used to really like it but it’s getting carried away with making good people look bad just to make drama. Drama is Not Good! Romance is !!!! Get it together.
