Gypsy Rose Blanchard took to social media to show off her new ink this week. The new tattoos included a huge backpiece and a forearm piece. In a clip on TikTok, she shared what each piece meant to her. Keep reading for a glimpse at the tattoos.
Gypsy Rose Treats Fans To A Glimpse Of Her Tattoos
On Thursday, July 25, Gypsy Rose shared a video showing off all of her new tattoos. In the TikTok clip, she also discussed the special meaning behind each piece. The video was set to the Jordin Sparks song “Tattoo.”
She first showed off a large tattoo on her back. The piece is inspired by a phoenix. Next, there is a colorful photo of a phoenix, confirming the inspiration for the tat.
The Lifetime star then showed off a forearm tattoo that appears abstract. Apparently, it is inspired by the Unalome, a Buddhist and Hindu symbol. It is meant to represent the path to freedom. Following the pic of her tattoo, Gypsy Rose included a diagram to explain the symbol’s significance.
Finally, her followers were shown the tattoo that most people know about her matching husky tattoo that she got with her boyfriend, Ken Urker.
Bobby Pitre and Sailor Bob’s Tattoo Parlor were tagged in the video, which is where she and Ken got their matching tattoos earlier this year. She also tagged Nadiya Vizier, another tattoo artist in the post.
Gypsy Assures Everyone The Tattoos Happened Before The Pregnancy
In the caption, Gypsy Rose was sure to clarify that she got all of her new ink before she was pregnant.
As fans know, Gypsy recently announced that she is expecting her first child with Ken Urker. She addressed pregnancy rumors in a YouTube video saying, “I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant. Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025.”
The pregnancy was not planned, but the couple seems to be excited about the new addition to their family.
Prior to getting back together with Ken, Gypsy Rose was married to Ryan Anderson. The pair were hitched for less than two years before she filed for divorce. She acknowledged that her past relationship with Ken caused tension in her marriage, but she insists he was not the reason she ultimately split up with Ryan.
Gypsy met both men while she was serving her prison sentence for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. Allegedly, Clauddine abused Gypsy Rose throughout her childhood, leading her to take extreme measures to get out from under her thumb. She served seven years of a 10-year sentence before she was granted parole in December 2023.
