‘Bachelorette’ Jenn Tran Says She’s ‘Terrified’ On Date With Sam M.

Sam McKinney Got Coveted First Impression Rose On Bachelorette
On the first night of The Bachelorette, Jenn Tran met twenty-five men who hoped to be her future husband. However, only one of the suitors made an impression on her. She gave her First Impression Rose to Sam McKinney.
He’s a 27-year-old general contractor from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. When they first met outside the makeshift mansion, Sam M. asked her to envision her life in the future with him bringing her breakfast with two shots in her hand because it was “shot o’clock.” The quip was a play on her infamous quote when she was on Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelorette.
He confessed in his intro package that he was previously engaged but it ended after he was cheated on. Jenn Tran and Sam M. clearly connected during their introduction.
Sam M. was later given the First Impression Rose and earned the first – and only – kiss of the night. She has kissed multiple men since then.
Jenn Tran Says She’s ‘Terrified’ On Date With Sam M.
Jenn Tran and remaining suitors spent the last two episodes exploring Australia. In the upcoming episode, they travel to New Zealand for more adventurous dates and bonding moments as she looks for her future husband.
The preview that aired after the July 22nd episode showed Jenn Tran jumping off the side of a building with only a bungee cord attached to her.
Now PEOPLE magazine has shared a new exclusive clip that gives more context. The outlet shared that Jenn Tran and Sam M. were together on a date at the Auckland SkyJump & SkyWalk. They were given the option to simply walk around or to jump off the side of the building.

To Jenn’s great surprise, Sam M. declared they would jump off without even consulting her. “Without even asking me, he made a decision for the both of us,” she vents to the camera.
He reportedly wanted to make her “comfortable being uncomfortable.”
But his plan doesn’t seem to go over well with Jenn. In another confessional, she admits,
“I am clearly terrified and Sam’s not reading my emotions at all. I feel like I’m up here all by myself.”
Viewers will have to tune in to see if Jenn and Sam M. can get back on the same page after their disagreement over the date activity.
