Gypsy Rose Blanchard & Ryan Anderson Divorce On Hold
Gypsy Rose Blanchard isn’t getting out of her marriage to Ryan Anderson as quickly as she’d hoped. Ryan’s attorney has revealed that the couple’s divorce is currently on hold due to Louisiana law. Here is what has been revealed.
Gypsy Rose & Ryan Anderson Will Have To Wait For Their Day In Court
On Wednesday, Jeffrey Carrier (Ryan’s attorney) told TMZ that Gypsy and Ryan would need to live separately for six months before they can go in front of a judge.
Ryan and Gypsy Rose broke up three months after she was released from prison. As you may know, Gypsy served a seven-year prison sentence for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.
Gypsy shared the details of her breakup with Ryan via a Facebook post in March. “Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents home down the bayou,” she wrote.” I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
On April 8, she filed for divorce and, later that month, the reasons for the split were slowly revealed. Apparently, the couple argued about a number of things, including Ryan’s food-hoarding habits.
Gypse Rose said that she was “shaken” after one argument they had. She cleaned out the fridge in their two-bedroom apartment while Ryan Anderson was gone one day. When he returned, an all-out fight ensued.
Did Gypsy Break Things Off With Ryan To Reunite With Ken?
However, many people think Gypsy was eager to end her marriage to Ryan. Less than a month after they separated, she was back together with her ex-fiance, Ken Urker. Days before she filed for divorce, Gypsy and Ken were seen getting matching tattoos. Then, on April 30, the ex-con confirmed that they were back together.
“After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is simply undeniable, and life is too short to not take a chance,” she said at the time. “We have a history that made for the perfect foundation for a new beginning. We are together and in a wonderful place in our relationship. We know it is going to be a long road ahead but are excited for the future.”
Ryan Anderson has claimed that he was “blindsided” when Gypsy broke things off. He held out hope that she’d come back, but then found out she was back together with Ken. “It was like, she was here one day, and the next she was gone,” Ryan said of the situation. “She wanted to be married, and now she doesn’t. It’s just crazy how it all happened like that.”
He added that the “matching tattoos really, really got me.” Ryan said that gesture “really hurt” and that it was “hard to process.” Now, it looks like it will be several more months before Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson can put it all behind them.
