One of the things that 90 Day Fiance fans look forward to the most whenever there is a new season is getting to know a new batch of cast members. This was the case in current The Other Way scenes, as TLC introduced viewers to a man named Josh.
He fell in love with a woman named Lily from China, and he was willing to put it all on the line and risk it all for love. As viewers saw in recent scenes, the American man landed in China to begin his journey, which included leaving his old life behind when he boarded a plane and flew across the world.
TLC Celeb Left A Lot Behind, Including A Daughter
90 Day Fiance fans are digging into the new TLC cast members as the new season of The Other Way is underway. As much as Josh has revealed about himself so far in scenes, the one thing that many viewers may not know is that, not only did he leave his life behind in America, but, he also left a daughter, too.
Josh mentioned in previous scenes that he has been divorced before. However, he also has a daughter from one of those previous relationships. Starcasm notes that his daughter is older, as she turned 20 in December. It seems that she is also in college.
The outlet notes that Josh’s daughter appears to live out of state, but, she seems to visit Bluffton, South Carolina, fairly often. Josh also likely felt that, with his daughter being older and in college, it was as good a time as any to jet off to China to pursue love.

For any 90 Day Fiance viewers wondering about Josh and his relationship history, it’s certainly a colorful one. He has been married three times, including two divorces, and he shares his daughter with his first wife. As longtime viewers have seen, many people who end up looking for love abroad as part of this franchise tend to have a history of unsuccessful relationships.
It turns out, Josh even married Lily in Las Vegas in April of 2023. So, whether or not Josh can make this marriage stick is going to be something to keep an eye on as the new season of The Other Way continues.
