‘Big Brother’ Announces Confusing Schedule Change

Big Brother 26 cast

Big Brother 26 was supposed to be easier to follow than past seasons. The show streamlined its dates and starting times, making it simple to know when the next episodes were coming. However, CBS has just changed the schedule, moved the times around, and has confused the entire season’s start times after just one week of the new season.

Here are the changes Big Brother made to its schedule this week.

Big Brother Makes Schedule Changes After Premiere Week

When Big Brother 26 premiered, the schedule was set, and it was a nice change. Instead of airing at different times each night, it had a set schedule throughout the week. However, after the first week of action, everything changed.

While the new season just started, CBS has made a huge change to its schedule. The season was supposed to start at 9/8c each night, airing three nights a week as normal. However, CBS announced it has changed things up and it will now air at a different time two nights a week.

The show still airs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. However, the time of the show has changed, with Wednesday and Thursday changing to 8/7c and Sunday sticking with the 9/8c time. There is hope that the DVR times will update for fans who aren’t able to watch them live each night.

Of course, this is not unusual, as Big Brother has always been known to change up the schedules and make things as confusing as possible for viewers to know when to tune in each night of the week. While fans will get used to it this time, just like every other time they changed, it might be a week before things get under control.

Fans Still Angry At Live Stream Limitations

Big Brother fans are still unhappy about the limitations of the live stream. There is no longer a replay that fans can use, which means they won’t get to see it if they are not watching when something happens. This makes subscribing to the live feeds worthless for anyone with a life.

Many fans think that the change was to eliminate the ability for controversial moments to get saved and cause problems. There was a call to “cancel” past players for things they said during live streams. There was also conflict between former houseguests when some left and watched back to see what people said about them. That can’t happen anymore.

However, former BB player Dick Donato had a different outlook. He said that the real reason was likely the cost of disc space to save that much HD live stream footage.

  1. anyone who continues to watch this idiotic attempt that giving anyone entertainment can’t be over 11 years old.

  2. I have watched BB since Season 1 Day 1 & this week has put an end to this ride. ANGELA. is a Witch, a bully & a liar. BB used to remove people with these toxic personalities & I applaud that move. With all of the hate, persecution & degredation in the world today, there was no fairness in her treatment of Matt. ANGELA should have been evicted this week based on her explosive & abusive behavior alone. Until she is gone from the show, I will not continue to watch it & watch her have the opportunity to treat anyone else in the same manner. SHAME ON BIG BROTHER FOR PERMITTING THIS BEHAVIOR!! At minimum, Matt deserves a PUBLIC apology! As Julie Chen says “Love one another!”

  3. I totally agree, he DID NOT threaten her, she is a bully and a liar. SHE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED NOW, AND MATT NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT BACK. I can not believe BB is putting up with this. What happened to love one another. With all the hate in this world, I refuse to watch it one of my favorite shows. Not sure if I will watching anymore. I WILL NOT WATCH SOMEONE BEING BULLIED, EVER!!!!!
