‘RHOA’ Kim Zolciak Reveals True Feelings On Kenya Moore Firing
Kim Zolciak has opened up about how she feels about Kenya Moore being fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The RHOA alum and Kenya got into it more than once while Kim was on the show. Have her feelings changed at all? Here’s what she had to say.
Kim Zolciak Says It’s The ‘Best Thing’
The pair were once costars on Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, they were never friends and now Kim Zolciak says that she supports Bravo’s decision to boot Kenya Moore from the show.
“I think it’s the best thing that could ever happen to that show,” she told Page Six. Kim went on to say that she believes Kenya is “heavily flawed” as a person, which doesn’t make her a good fit for the RHOA cast.
“You meet people and you have relationships with people and you get angry or you get frustrated, but when you’re just I think the core of who you are or your character is heavily flawed, I think that’s a great decision to be honest,” she said.
As Real Housewives fans know, Kenya Moore shocked everyone when she decorated her salon’s grand opening with X-rated posters. The photos that she had blown up and placed on the walls showed rookie cast member Brittany Eady allegedly performing oral sex. Although cameras were rolling at the time, Brittany Eady was not at the event.
The move has since been labeled as “revenge porn.” An insider came forward in defense of Kenya, stating that the photos were “readily accessible” on the internet. Brittany also allegedly threatened Kenya before the grand opening.
A separate source insists that isn’t true though. “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production,” they said.
Either way, Kenya Moore was suspended from filming immediately following the incident. She was also not permitted to come back for the rest of Season 16.
With Kenya Gone, Porsha & Phaedra Returning, Will Kim Come Back?
Now that Kenya Moore is gone, several other RHOA alums have been negotiating their return to the Bravo show. Phaedra Parks is currently in talks to get her peach back. Porsha Williams is also returning.
Kim Zolciak weighed in on Phaedra’s return. “I love Phaedra. That would be great. … She’s so funny,” she stated. “I love her.”
Even though Kim previously said that she’d never return to Real Housewives of Atlanta, the return of Porsha and Phaedra has her reconsidering. While she isn’t in talks to return, seeing two of her favorites come back has her wondering “What if.”
“I’ve been saying I would never return but, as I’m talking right now, I might think about it. Porsha and Phaedra might do it for me. We’ll see,” she said.
For now, fans will have to catch Kim Zolciak on MTV’s Surreal Life: Villa Of Secrets. The season premiere is tonight at 9 p.m.
