‘Price Is Right’ Fans Rage Over Shakeup, Unfair Schedule Change
Price is Right fans are raging over the latest shakeup with the game show. They feel the latest schedule change is unfair. What happened now that has everyone in an uproar? Keep reading to find out the big changes that have fans riled up.
Price Is Right Fans Upset Over Change
Fans love tuning in to see Drew Carey hosting their favorite game show The Price Is Right. What they do not love is when the network makes unfair schedule changes. Many fans feel the latest change is a major shakeup and they are not happy.
The network announced the season premiere of The Price is Right at Night primetime special. The show will return on September 23 which is great and exciting for fans. However, this also comes with a new schedule.
The primetime edition of the show has always aired on Wednesday nights. This season they are making a change. The show will now air on Monday nights. What makes this change even more frustrating for viewers is that CBS also airs Monday-night football games.
This means if the NFL game goes longer than its allotted time, the game show will also be delayed. This can create issues for families needing to get to bed at a decent hour. Fans are talking about the change on Reddit.
One fan said, “I don’t know why CBS is moving the night shows to Monday night? They are now competing head-to-head with NFL Monday Night Football.”
Another fan added their thoughts saying, “That’s definitely unfair.”
Someone else added, “yea doesn’t make sense unless there’s some other CBS shows on other days during the week they didn’t want to mess with?”
When Will It Air?
Drew Carey and the Price is Right at Night team will be back with all new episodes on September 23.
Before the season premiere airs it seems CBS is showing reruns. This week’s Wednesday night episode will air the Super Bowl Special that premiered in February.
So far the network nor Drew Carey has addressed the concerns expressed by their die-hard fans.
Needless to say, the show will go on and fans will have to hope NFL games do not interfere with The Price is Right too often. So far there are only new episodes listed through the beginning of October. However, that will change once that timeframe gets closer.

Is CBS doing Monday Night Football this year? I thought that was an ABC/ESPN show.
I agree that it’s dumb to move TPIR to Monday nights.
