Lala Kent Responds To David Arquette Slam
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is responding to actor David Arquette’s slam about her behavior toward him. He was recently on WWHL with Andy Cohen and spoke about their time filming the 2020 movie, Spree. Now, Lala has come back with her own statement but what is she saying? Keep reading for more details.
Lala Kent Responds To David Arquette Slam
In the last year or so, Lala Kent has tried to maintain that she was in a softer era. Yet, her behavior in Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules proved otherwise. She had a level of hypocrisy that did not work well for fans. At the reunion, she lashed out, brought up irrelevant things, spilled secrets, and noted that this was a job. More so, she cited that it was the cast’s job to be transparent and honest about their lives. Social media had a field day with that, bringing up a plethora of times when Lala was more than dishonest.
Recently, actor David Arquette was a guest on WWHL with Andy Cohen and was asked about working with Lala. He noted that, though they did not really film together, she was not very friendly toward him:
“I don’t know. [She] gave me a little attitude. I felt a little attitude, know what I’m saying? I wasn’t trying to give attitude. I was like, ‘Why am I getting attitude?’”

Viewers could not believe she was rude to someone who was so chill but so well-established in the acting field. More so, it was noted that Lala was engaged to Randall Emmett at the time so she likely felt she was better than everyone. Fans also could not wait for her response and she delivered by posting one on her Instagram stories.
Of course, Lala Kent tried to redirect it back to herself and claimed that she was “intimated” as she was with a bunch of well-known actors. Yet, she was just a “girl on reality TV.” Aside from David, there was Mischa Barton from The OC and Frankie Grande but regardless, they all deserved respect.
Do Fans Buy The Apology?
The moment the Vanderpump Rules star posted the apology, a Reddit thread was started to chat about what she had said. Did fans buy that her statement and apology were sincere or did they think she was just trying to look good?
- Does she have to respond to EVERYONE all the time???! Why can’t she let anything go EVER
- “I’m sorry but” is not an apology.
- I’m sure she felt intimidated 🤦🏼♀️ Shes just trying to cover her arse now that it came out…She will always be one of those that thinks she’s better than everyone…
- She’s backtracking big time. Thought she was elite for dating “producer Randall emmet.” Not she’s getting called out for it and is eating her words. Love it
Many did not believe Lala Kent’s apology was sincere especially since they have seen her work on Vanderpump. More so, they felt David Arquette was a nice man who would generally let things slide. Lala might have been better off saying nothing or just apologizing without an excuse afterward.
