‘Bachelorette’ Viewers Suspicious of Aaron Erb’s Motives
Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette suitors aren’t impressing longtime fans of the show. There have been rumblings online about how she’s had the worst crop of men in the franchise’s history. In fact, The Daily Beast posed the question “Why Are ‘The Bachelorette’ Men So Unattractive This Season?” to readers.
Looks aside, Bachelorette viewers aren’t sure what to make of Aaron Erb. Is he on the show for the right reasons or are his motives something else? Keep reading for more.
Who Is Aaron Erb
Bachelorette Season 21 contestant Aaron Erb has a leg up on his competitors through a family connection to the franchise. His younger brother, Noah Erb, was a contestant on Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette and then Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise, where he met now-fiance Abigail Heringer.
Aaron and Noah are actually twins, but Aaron refers to himself as the ‘older’ brother because he was born seven minutes before Noah. Aaron, 29, has a career he loves as an aerospace engineer. According to his ABC bio, he works on satellites to send into space.
But unlike Noah, Bachelor Nation fans aren’t sure about Aaron’s reasons for joining the popular dating show.
Drama Flares Up Around Devin Strader
Aaron Erb has already made waves among Jenn’s suitors. He went head-to-head with competition Devin Strader over Devin’s actions of constantly encroaching on other people’s time with Jenn.
Things exploded between Aaron and Devin when Aaron presented him with a self-help book about emotional intelligence. If that sounds familiar, you may be thinking of the time Bennett Jordan gave Aaron’s brother, Noah Erb, a book for similar reasons.
Eagle-eyed Bachelor Nation viewers noticed a typo in the title on the book’s spine, causing rampant speculation that the book was fake and the entire scene created by production. Fans already suspect the producers were interfering in the rose ceremonies.

Whether the producers set up the book exchange or not, Aaron Erb clearly took a few tips from Noah’s season. Now fans are wondering if he’s on the show to find love or to find fame.

His feud with Devin kicked off almost immediately, causing some fans to speculate that he was planted on the show by the producers to cause drama. Despite Aaron’s involvement in the house drama, Jenn Tran keeps giving him roses.
