Patrick & Brittany Mahomes Reveal Baby #3 Gender
The NFL quarterback and his wife had a cut Xs and Os-themed gender reveal party. They played a game of tic-tac-toe with their two children to unveil whether baby #3 is a boy or a girl.
In a video on Instagram, their three-year-old daughter Sterling begins turning over tiles on the tic-tac-toe board. Their one-year-old son, Bronze, looked on as his big sister did the reveal. The first couple of boxes she turns are blue Os, indicating a boy. However, the third box she turned was a pink X.
After a few more turns on the tic-tac-toe board, Sterling reveals a row with three pink Xs, meaning she’ll be having a baby sister. The clip shows pink smoke and confetti raining down over the family.
Followers, family, and friends rushed to the comments to show their support for Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. Jackson Mahomes, the kids’ uncle, wrote, “So exciting!”
“Yay! Sisters are the BEST!” another person commented, while a third wrote, “Congrats! Another team member for your all star lineup.”
Several people also had suggestions for a name for the baby girl. With their other two children having metal names (Sterling and Bronze), a number of people suggested “Goldie” as a name for baby #3.
Patrick Mahomes Says Baby #3 Is The Last
Just last week, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes announced they are expecting their third child. A video shared on social media showed the NFL superstar and his wife holding a sonogram with their two other kids playing nearby.
The couple welcomed their first child, Sterling, in February 2021. Then, in November 2022, Brittany Mahomes gave birth to their son, Bronze. Their third child is expected to make its debut in the world in early 2025.
Brittany has not been shy about sharing the details of how their family has expanded in recent years. At one point, someone asked her if Bronze was a planned pregnancy during an Instagram Q&A. She responded, “Nothing cute lol, both were ‘oh sh*t’ moments.”
When she was asked if she had any help with her family, Brittany Mahomes was open about what their finances have been able to help her afford. “Yes, I have help,” she wrote. “And I’m very thankful for it! Chef, nanny, a virtual assistant lol, and our security team.”
While they are over the moon about the new addition to the family, Patrick Mahomes has said this will be their last child. During a press conference earlier this week, he said, “I’m done, I’ll say that … I said three and I’m done.”
