‘Jeopardy!’ Former Champ Isaac Hirsch Claps Back After Show Diss

Jeopardy: Isaac Hirsch

Former Jeopardy! champ Isaac Hirsch saw his impressive streak come to an end in recent scenes. In response, he clapped back at an obvious diss from the show. So, what happened with this situation, and what did Hirsch have to say?

Jeopardy! Isaac Hirsch Put Together Impressive Streak Of Wins

While Jeopardy! is all about putting a player’s knowledge to the test, one of the other things people tune in for is to watch certain players put together impressive winning runs. This is something that viewers love to tune in for as they see whether or not particular players can keep streaks alive.

This was the case recently with Jeopardy! player Isaac Hirsch. Hirsch put together an impressive streak. He had many viewers at home rooting for him, especially those who wanted to see just how far he could extend his winning ways, as well as what his grand total would be once everything was in the books.

Isaac Hirsch’s Winning Ways Come To An End

Like all good things, Jeopardy! winning streaks must, inevitably, come to an end. In Isaac Hirsch’s case, with the momentum he had, many viewers didn’t quite expect his streak to end when it did.

Hirsch put together a string of nine Jeopardy! wins. When his run officially came to an end, he made an impressive money total of $215,390. Even though he ended up losing in what could have been victory number 10, making it as far as he did is certainly no small feat.

Of course, the record-holder for most consecutive Jeopardy! games won is none other than current host, Ken Jennings. He put together an unbeatable run of 74 games won in 2004.

Jeopardy!: Isaac Hirsch Claps Back At Show Diss?

Not long after Isaac Hirsch failed to maintain his streak, stopping at nine games, the Jeopardy! Twitter/X account put out a tweet that read: “Fun fact: No one has EVER won exactly 10 games in their original run on Jeopardy! Isn’t that weird?”

Many game show fans see this as a not-so-subtle diss of recent champ, Isaac Hirsch, who came just one game short of ten wins. Whether it was intentionally malicious or not on the part of the Jeopardy! social media account, a lot of people took notice, including Isaac Hirsch.

The former champ replied to the tweet from the show, saying: “Yes, very… weird.”

From the looks of it, this subtle dig was not lost on Isaac Hirsch. On that thread alone, many Jeopardy! fans are already calling for the former champ to make a return. So, it likely isn’t the last time that viewers will see him on the set, and many watchers can’t wait.
