Family Feud: Steve Harvey

In recent Family Feud scenes, Steve Harvey stopped the show to make fun of a player. However, the beloved host eventually got a taste of his own medicine, too. So, what happened on the game show set?

Family Feud: Steve Harvey Is As Sharp As They Come

Steve Harvey may be in his late 60s these days, but, as recent Family Feud scenes show, the actor, comedian, and radio host is as sharp as ever. Steve Harvey has been thinking on his feet for so long that it is second nature to him. So, people need to bring their A-game whenever they set foot on the game show set.

As Family Feud fans see on a regular basis, nothing gets past Steve Harvey. If a contestant makes even a slight mistake, the host is already on it, calling that mistake out and making a viral moment that is later shared all across social media for the world to see.

Steve Harvey Mocks Player In Recent Scenes

In recent Family Feud scenes, Steve Harvey asked: “Name something that people do with their eyes open that others do with their eyes closed.”

In response, one of the family members said: “Give a speech.”

Not missing a beat, Steve Harvey closed his eyes and started giving a speech, causing the entire audience to break out into laughter. When you give Harvey something like this to work with, the Family Feud host never misses. In this case, he showed once again why he is one of the best out there at improvising on the fly.

Family Feud: Karma Comes Back Around For Harvey?

As much as Steve Harvey makes his living from roasting players on Family Feud, it was Harvey who later had to correct a mistake twice during the Fast Money round of the same show. During that Fast Money round, the host asked both players: “Tell me a phrase that starts with the word ‘hail.'”

In both instances, players mistook “hail” for “hell.” Due to this, they gave answers like: “Hell no.”

Typically, Steve Harvey is the one who makes fun of players when they mispronounce something or say something awkward. However, in this recent case, Harvey confused two players with the way that he pronounced “hail.”

In this instance, it just goes to show that, no matter how slick Steve Harvey might be, even he can wind up in lost-in-translation moments from time to time.

For once, the dress shoe was on the other foot this time, and Harvey got a little taste of his own medicine. Harvey is a good sport, though, as he can take as much as he dishes out when the situation calls for it.
