‘Golden Bachelor’ Theresa Nist Reveals She Was On Show Against Her Will
Recently, The Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner, and his family appeared on Celebrity Family Feud. At the time, Theresa Nist was still his beautiful bride. But tensions were there during the appearance.

Undeniably, Bachelor Nation was rocked a bit when Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner announced they were divorcing. After which they decided to go their separate ways. However, there are still new collaborations coming out. On Tuesday night, The Golden Bachelor and The Bachelor faced off. Initially, the filming occurred on April 7, just a week before the Golden Couple announced their parting on April 12. At that time, Gerry said, “Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we’ve looked closely at our living situation. We’ve come to the decision mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage.”
But Celebrity Family Feud was still on the books for recording so the show must go on. Comprising The Golden Bachelor team were Gerry, Theresa, Gerry’s daughters, Angie and Jenny, and Theresa’s kids, Jen and Tommy. On the opposing team were The Bachelor, Joey Graziadei, Kelsey Anderson, The Bachelorette, Charity Lawson, her boyfriend, Dotun Olubeko, Bachelor alum Zach Shallcross, and his girlfriend, Kaity Biggar. Undoubtedly, with the divorce announcement not long after the taping, fans were watching to see how the episode would unfold.

While many Bachelor Nation fans were watching closely for clues to the rub between Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner, they kept up appearances nicely during Celebrity Family Feud. During the episode, The Golden Bachelor team won by a landslide taking victory in all three rounds. While The Golden Bachelor team took the win, they entered the Fast Money segment with lots of tension. When Theresa could barely stand in place, Steve Harvey asked, “Are you ready?” Then, nervously, Theresa says, “No, but okay, I’ll do it anyway.”
Following her response, the audience laughs. But Steve looks at her seriously wondering, “Are you out here against your will?” To which, Theresa immediately exclaims, “Yes!” Her lack of hesitation made fans question if she was under contract and not wanting to participate. But Steve goes on to ask, “We asked 100 women, ‘You just traded in your husband for what?'” Both Theresa and Gerry do a great job working through nerves to add $25,000 to their charity winnings.

While fans were watching the Celebrity Family Feud, many people thought it was strange to hear Gerry Turner refer to Theresa Nist as his wife. With the current knowledge of the divorce, it was a bit surreal.
