Although rumors of her death circulated on social media this morning, major news outlets refrained from posting about the situation. So what exactly happened?

When a celebrity passes away, it’s not at all uncommon for the family or estate to make a formal announcement from the deceased’s X account. So when Abby Lee Miller’s account made a post about her death, fans understandably worried. After all, Miller has struggled with health challenges over the years, including cancer.
“#BreakingNews #RIP” the tweet read with a photo of Abby Lee Miller wiping a tear from her eye. Fans flooded the page, expressing concern for the Dance Moms coach.
However, they quickly caught on and realized that it was likely a hoax. The third-party link in the tweet takes viewers to a page full of other celebrity deaths. Notably missing from the list is Abby Lee Miller.

It’s not immediately clear why this post went up on Miller’s account. It could have been a hack, or the dance coach might be earning money from the number of clicks on the link. Either way, her followers didn’t appreciate it.
Several X users thought the post was in incredibly poor taste after all the celebrity deaths over the past week, including Shannen Doherty and Jacoby Jones.

Several X Users Wanted The Coach To Acknowledge Christi Lukasiak’s Situation
It’s no secret that Abby Lee Miller butted heads with several of her Dance Moms costars. Most notably, she fought with Christi Lukasiak and Kelly Hyland.
Pennsylvania authorities charged Christi Lukasiak with a DUI after a car crash in June. On X, several other users wanted Miller to address that situation. In the past, she hasn’t shied away from sharing her true thoughts and feelings about her fellow Dance Moms stars.
Thankfully, it appears Miller is alive and well. Fans can likely expect her to resume normal social media activity shortly.
