Longtime Kardashian fans know that the Kardashian/Jenner family is no stranger to causing a stir and occasionally ruffling a few feathers. Based on recent updates, many fans were up in arms over Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian blatantly disrespecting tradition. So, what did they do?
All Eyes Are On Khloe Kardashian And Her Famous Family
No matter where they go or what they are doing, Khloe Kardashian and the rest of her famous family always have cameras on them. Because all of the Kardashians are now parents, anything the siblings do with their children also makes headlines, including an everyday activity like taking one of their children to one of their basketball games, as Kim has regularly done.
Whether it’s Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Rob, Kendall, or Kylie, there are cameras on them nearly at all times, and this includes when they do things like travel to other countries as well, which Khloe and Kim did recently. Some might say that the attention is amplified when they go international.
Khloe Kardashian And Kim Kardashian Traveled To India, Wore Traditional Clothing
Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian recently traveled to India to attend Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s star-studded wedding in Mumbai. It turns out, the Kardashian sisters were not the only famous faces who traveled internationally to make these wedding festivities.
Anant Ambani is the youngest son of India’s biggest business tycoon, Mukesh Ambani. So, it certainly makes sense that the stars came out in droves for this wedding spectacle.
As you do when in India, especially while attending a wedding ceremony, Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian wore traditional Indian clothing. Unfortunately, however, there has been considerable backlash from some over this choice.
Fans Slam Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian For Mocking Indian Culture
Of course, when you’re a Kardashian, making everything into a lucrative business move is the name of the game. So, while enjoying this exclusive, high-status wedding in Mumbai, the Kardashian sisters also teased that they were filming for their popular reality show, The Kardashians.
Unfortunately, though, not everyone is happy about them even being in India, let alone them using the big event to film content for their reality show.
While some applauded Khloe and Kim for embracing Indian culture, with some even saying how good they looked, others slammed them for making a mockery of tradition and using it as content for their own agenda. Following this line of thinking, many viewers had some harsh things to say.

- One commenter remarked: “Over on our desi subs, someone said that they literally dressed like faberge eggs and that’s basically the issue. These are like… costume versions of what we’d wear? I cant explain it but it wasn’t done right and whatever on EARTH possessed Kim to wear a nose chain to someone else’s wedding is beyond me.”
- Another commenter said: “It is the dress code, yes, but the blouse is too tight, too low cut. She’s made a beautiful, traditional Indian dress into something sleazy. (I am Indian and can vouch that wearing that to a wedding is deeply disrespectful.)”
