Jenelle Evans’ New Boyfriend Makes ‘Teen Mom’ Debut
Rumors of Jenelle Evans’ new man making his debut on Teen Mom have been circulating since August Keen’s appearance on the MTV show last night. Jenelle previously confided in one of her Teen Mom co-stars that she was “taking things slow.” However, fans think she’s setting things up for August to move in sooner rather than later. August Keen & Jenelle Evans Are Taking It Slow
The @teenmomfanz Instagram account shared the news that August Keen would make his first appearance on Teen Mom on Thursday, July 11. In the post, it was revealed that August has been Jenelle’s manager for a long time, but Jenelle has previously opened up to Briana DeJesus about her relationship with him.
According to the post, Jenelle told Briana that she and August have been flirting but she’s decided to take it slow. After all, her divorce from David Eason still hasn’t been finalized. In the state of North Carolina, you have to be separated for one year before the paperwork can even be filed.
Nonetheless, it seems like Jenelle Evans is setting the foundation for her next move.
Teen Mom fans took to social media to discuss the latest development in Jenelle’s love life. In the comment section on Instagram, several people begged Jenelle to take some time and just focus on herself and her kids for once.
“Jenelle always puts herself first. I feel sorry for her kids,” one person wrote. Another agreed, “At what point is it about your d**n kids. Still married legally and worried about bringing and (whole) new man into the picture.” A third person quipped, “Taking things slow doesn’t exist in her vocabulary lmao she’s usually pregnant or engaged by month two.”
Teen Mom Fans Think They’ve Been Together A While
Others took to Reddit to talk about Jenelle Evans’ new man and several did a deep dive into their history. One person posted a screengrab of a video Jenelle posted to her Instagram Story. It showed her and August Keen in a car together. Over the clip, she wrote, “(August Keen) finally made his debut on TV tonight after 7 years of knowing him.” She accompanied the text with a #businessmeetings.
The original poster who shared the clip joked, “August finally appears with Jenelle on her IG – it’s just like the Notebook.” One Teen Mom fan pointed out that Jenelle seems to be mentioning that she’s known August for seven years so that she can have him move in sooner. “When everyone calls her on letting him live with her and the kids and play father to them she can say ‘he’s not a stranger, we’ve known him for 7 years,'” they suggested.
In a separate Reddit thread, a screenshot of a Venmo payment was shared. It was from August Keen to Jenelle. The memo simply had a pizza emoji. The Reddit user wrote, “At least this guy is paying her back for pizza. No mention of rill ramen.”
There were a number of people who mentioned the pizza emoji often means they paid for drugs like marijuana or “ice.” Either way, the exchange was dated May 3, so they’ve been interacting privately for some time.
